LIMS
- Type: GS-1020
- Description:
Liquid Injection Molded Silicone (LIMS) has high molding efficiency, less leftover materials, lower linear shrinkage, as well as is non-toxic and environmental. It usually sub-assembles into component A and component B. Component A contains Platinum catalyst, and component B contains cross-linking agent. A and B will not be cross-linked when they are kept separately.
When component A and component B are mixed, the mixture increases viscosity, and then it loses fluidity and solidifies into elastic body. The velocity of the cross-linking will be affected by the temperature when component A and component B are mixing. In the environment with relatively low temperature, the mixture can keep the fluidity for around 7 days, but in the environment with 150℃, it will solidify within a couple minutes.
Attentions:
1. Separate the tools for the cross-linking of component A and B, or the mixture will solidify.
2. Avoid the materials that will inhibit solidifying the mixture, such as the substance that contains sulfur, anime, and organotin.
3. Store the mixture at room temperature in ventilating and dry place indoor. Avoid the direct sunlight.
